Email signature builder
Pick a person, check the details, then copy and paste into Gmail. Colours, fonts and logo are set to brand — nothing to adjust.
1. Details
2. Desktop signature (Gmail on a computer)
- Sign in to Gmail as that person (at their computer).
- Click the gear (top right) → See all settings.
- On the General tab, scroll to Signature.
- If an old signature is there, click it and click the trash icon.
- Click + Create new, name it FCH, click Create.
- Click in the big box and press Ctrl+V. The logo and text should appear — not code.
- Under Signature defaults, set both For new emails use and On reply/forward use to FCH.
- Scroll to the very bottom and click Save Changes.
- Send a test email to your own address. The logo should show, sharp, above a navy name.
3. Phone signature (Gmail app)
- On their phone, open the Gmail app → menu (☰) → Settings.
- Tap their account → Mobile signature (iPhone: Signature settings).
- Paste, then tap OK / turn it on.
Rules baked in: no tagline, no caps, no background colours, no social icons. If anything needs changing, ask Tom — don't edit the signature in Gmail.
